KL MotoPark with its numerous activities is an ideal place to interact with the masses as well as providing goodwill support to the nation’s motoring development. Motorsports is considered as one of the most well-endowed sports market in the world. With businesses reaping equivocal profits from the motoring industry in the country, recreational motoring has become a good advertising canal to be exploited to reach the masses because of its market size.
KL MotoPark opportunities are targeted toward different areas of demographics to service client’s goals. The facility plays a strategic role in meeting objectives set out. KL MotoPark represents a vehicle for approaching both local communities and the masses in general by means of executing programs aligned with our communications strategies.
Communication
Communication with members of the public will be an everyday routine. Promotional work is carried out regularly highlighting KL MotoPark activities in the country and their impact on the local and national scenes.
The communications strategy strives for several important factors in recognizing the facility as a strategic proposition in the promotion of recreational motoring. Non-motorsports activities also carry the same weight in the facility. Thus, the facility will be an ideal way to exploit target reach and the general masses (Media Coverage).
The KL MotoPark communications strategy aims to:
- Influence decision-makers and promote favorable activities related to recreational motoring and responsible use of motor vehicles;
- Contribute to the youth of the country through the inculcation of sports, specifically recreational motoring in a controlled and safe environment;
- nculcate a positive awareness among the youths of Malaysia on the mechanisms of recreational motoring with an emphasis on educational awareness; and
- Educate and inform the masses on our activities and support toward the national sports agenda
To achieve this, work is carried out in three key areas that have been identified:
- Strengthening the communications component of the facility’s recreational motoring programs and strategies
- This basically entails each of the Park’s working areas (recreational motoring programs and strategies) employing a strategic communications component which contributes to meeting goals and obtaining expected results.
- Resources and products to publicize progress and results, reinforce public image and support fundraising
- This refers to the production of communication materials, including articles, press releases, leaflets, CDs, posters, information packs, etc., which act as vehicles to make the facility message clearer, more relevant and appropriate to all those concerned in the motoring and automotive industry.
- Capacity-building in KL MotoPark corporate communications
- As well as meeting this instrumental objective, this area also acts as a means to demonstrate the importance of the communications strategy and its role within the corporate world.
