First and foremost, welcome to KL MotoPark's website, where you can learn more about us – Motorsports Malaysia, and the offerings at the upcoming KL MotoPark.
KL MotoPark is planned to be a RM20 million urban complex providing multi-activities for everyone in the region. As we're enthusiastic about recreational motoring ourselves, we want to provide as many activities as possible to satisfy everyone's needs, ensuring affordable and accessible motoring facilities.
At KL MotoPark, we also offer privileges to patrons who want more. There’s the Velocity Card Membership, which will enable you to enjoy better access and discounts at our facility. Not only that, members will be able to compete in the championships planned especially for them. There are also regular flagship events for public spectatorship and grassroots participation.
For many who may know me from before, we have been talking about the problems and solutions for ages. Now we are proud to have overcome initial challenges and be the first to take a concrete initiative in what has been a long chicken-and-egg situation for grassroots motorsports and recreational motoring.
While we cater to Malaysia’s 10 million motorists and some two million in the Klang Valley, there will also be efforts for non-motoring events, like concerts, exhibition and launches.
Our mission is to provide for the lifestyle of enthusiasts, especially youth recreation and entertainment, as well as the understanding and practice of safe motoring activities; via the training programs we plan to provide. In return, we hope to curb illegal racing and at the same time cultivate widespread good practices.
We want KLMP to be the playground for thousands of misplaced ‘street racers’, especially those in KL, to nurture and showcase their talent, explore their skills to the fullest, in the process making our roads 'clean' of any uncivilized activities.
The motoring industry, the technology and intensity will change over time, but one thing at KLMP will remain steady – providing the platform for grassroots activities for the masses.
