As a part of our focus is motoring, KLMP realizes the role it can play in raising the standard of motoring and road safety, especially in Malaysia. Thus, we have incorporated various driver training programs and have taken road safety initiatives as well.
With regard to road safety, we have incorporated into our website an educational magazine section called Learning Curve, which provides sound advice on right driving techniques, defensive driving, vehicle maintenance and first-aid.
We also aim to raise technical standards, such as those for marshals, safety, engineers, race directors, and the motoring industry as well.
In KLMP’s first flagship program to run, Future Ace, even kids from certain orphanages will have a shot at possibly becoming famous. These kids will be allowed to register and participate in the try-outs for free. Future Ace is a talent search program undertaken by KLMP to unearth hidden raw racing talent in kids between 12 and 15 years via nationwide trials in go-karts. The selected ones will be groomed to be racers.
With regard to the development of the park itself, some trees that have to make way will be saved and replanted once the project is complete. Water harvesting will take place as part of our efforts to recycle water. Rainwater will be channeled from the bowl-shaped track to an underground water storage where we filter and utilize the water for watering the plants or even to wet / clean the track. There will also be an internal recycling program. |
